MaskSmasher (Exposing AI scams, deepfakes, and digital fraud) is An investigative cybersecurity publication exposing AI-powered scams, deepfake fraud, social engineering, and digital deception. We launched in 2025 for an audience of consumers, security professionals, and journalists tracking fraud trends.

Our Mission

We believe specialized publications still matter. Generic feeds and aggregators flatten everything into the same shape. Our mission is to give one community deep, well-sourced, opinionated coverage of the topics they actually care about.

How We Work

Our team combines AI-assisted research and writing with rigorous human editorial review. We use large models for pattern recognition, summarization, and translation, but every published piece passes through fact-checking and editor review.

• Sourcing: We cite primary sources whenever possible, including official documents, open data, and specialist publications.
• Transparency: When content is AI-assisted, we say so. When something is uncertain, we mark it.
• Corrections: Spot an error? Email [email protected]. We correct quickly and label corrections.

Editorial Ethics

We don't accept payment for editorial coverage. Sponsored content (if any) is labeled clearly. We don't publish paid placements without disclosure. Affiliate links are marked.
